Following the refresh of the Scottish Borders Events Strategy this workshop is part of a programme to share best practice and information with the local events industry.
This online workshop will focus on environmental sustainability at events which is becoming increasingly important. Event goers' environmental expectations continue to develop and Scotland's climate change legislation sets a target date for net zero emissions of all greenhouse gases by 2045.
Workshop attendees will hear from a mix of event organisers and public bodies on the strategic imperative of implementing environmentally sustainable practices at events and also practical steps that your event can take.
